Beaches of the Lixuri Region

The location of the Rouchotas Apartment offers you another convenience: in the immediate vicinity of our hotel is a station for the Ferry boat to Lixuri. This small town is located on the Paliki peninsula and near it are the most beautiful beaches that are among the Top 10 of Kefalonia. By using the ferry, you significantly shorten the trip while enjoying the ride in the beautiful Argostoli bay.

The Beaches of Fiskardo Region

The beaches in the north of the island, around the village of Fiskardo, are completely different from the beaches in other parts of the island of Kefalonia. Lush vegetation, untouched nature and turquoise, blue-green water are a delight for all the senses. The beaches on this part of the island are not organized precisely because of the beautiful nature. That is why we have provided our guests with umbrellas and beach chairs.

Diving in Kefalonia

Scuba or Snorkelling, Kefalonia is a paradise for diving!

Due to the specific coastal and marine flora, fauna and geomorphology, most of the coast is protected by the Natura 2000 Network. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced snorkeler or scuba diver, you can always discover something new in the beautiful turquoise sea! The nearest diving club is the Pirate Divers Club, on the beautiful Mediterranne beach on Lassi.

The Naturist Beaches

Although there are no official nudist beaches on Kefalonia, there are several places where you can strip off without anyone bothering you. Three beaches are popular for nudism are Mouda beach (east of Katelios fishing village), Spithi beach (Skala) and Paradisi beach (below Sisia monastery). On Kefalonia there are many isolated and less frequented beaches as well as small bays that naturists use on a regular basis. For nudists there is a special tour with the Lady O yacht that departs from Argostoli. With them you can throw away your worries and your clothes and simply enjoy!
